DAINME-SME stars in a PhD thesis at EGE University!
Congratulation to Serap Fenderya, PhD student of Prof. Nayil Dinkci from EGE University!
Last 2nd February, 2023, she presented her thesis “Development of a functional #Whey beverage with mulberry leaf extract and mulberry juice” and got the “Dr.” title. In her reaserch, a fermented functional dairy drink was developed using mulberry juice, mulberry leaf extract, probiotic culture and #whey protein concentrate.
It was a successful work, realised in the framework of #DAINME-SME project 💡, concluding that the drink obtained from the study is a product with favorable physicochemical, rheological, microbiological, and sensory properties.
